Gary Gulseth
With more than 30 years of professional training experience and over 40 years as a competitive powerlifter, I’ve dedicated my life to helping people of all ages unlock their strength, confidence, and longevity through resistance training.
I specialize in strength and movement for older adults, using joint-friendly, effective training methods built around free weights, dumbbells, and progressive resistance. My programs are designed to help clients move better, build lasting strength, and stay independent at any age.
As a multi–world champion powerlifter and world record holder in two WABDL push-pull weight classes within my age group, I’ve proudly represented my sport at the highest levels. I was also the first athlete in Wisconsin to bench press over 600 pounds in the WABDL — achievements that reflect decades of discipline, focus, and dedication to the craft of strength.
In addition to my powerlifting success, I’m the NPC Midwest Open 50+ Physique Champion and a fitness model, demonstrating that strength and aesthetics can go hand in hand at any age.
Over the years, I’ve trained clients from their teens into their 90s, helping each person find a sustainable and rewarding path to improved strength, physique, and overall health.
My philosophy is professional, motivational, and no-nonsense — focused on consistent effort, proper technique, and intelligent programming that gets results. Whether your goal is fat loss, physique improvement, or lifelong strength, I’ll help you train with purpose and achieve lasting success.
